Lions will join fnatic in the MSI BEAT IT 2011 Grand Final after overcoming Natus Vincere with a score of 2-1.

Starting out as Terrorist on de_inferno against Lions, Natus Vincere was the side who displayed the most control over their contenders, making sure not to give them too much breathing room. 

A few well-placed shots by Lions did, however, reward them a total of four rounds during the first half of the semifinal encounter, but four rounds to 11 is a more than fair deficit.

Following the side switch and Natus Vincere reaching 15 rounds won, Lions had secured five rounds for themselves and attempted to fix their mess, but to no luck, losing the first map 16-9.

Continuing the encounter on de_mirage, Natus Vincere seemed to have a hard time as Lions were in the lead by eight rounds to their three as CT. The former even had to call a time-out.

Concluding the first half, Lions entered the following phase with a five-round lead, having dealt Natus Vincere a setback by putting them at a disadvantage with a 10-5 scoreline.

As Lions opened up by taking out the first three rounds, things did not look good for Natus Vincere. The Ukrainian team was, however, not ready to give up without a fight just yet. 

With Lions sitting on 13 rounds won, Natus Vincere gained some momentum and were able to seal a total of seven rounds in a row, maintaining the hope of closing the win after two maps. 

Lions would not let this happen, though. While Natus Vincere made it all the way to 14 rounds, Lions were too strong in the concluding round, sealing the map at 16-14 in the Swedes' favor.

Now on de_dust2, Natus Vincere started out the brightest, claiming the three first rounds, but Lions caused an overturn, eventually putting the Swedish team in the lead with a scoreline of 9-6.

Switching sides, Lions overpowered Natus Vincere as Terrorist, collecting an additional five rounds to the latter's two. Lions then added the remaining two, defeating Na´Vi 16-9.
